After numerous delays, Ys VIII is finally coming to PC next week.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

Good things really do come to those who wait. This is especially true if you’re one of the many who’ve been waiting to experience fiery-haired swordsman Adol Christin’s latest journey on your computer.  The PC version of Ys: VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana has certainly had a hell of a bumpy road to release. However, publisher NIS America today announced that the latest entry in Falcom’s long-running RPG series will be making its way to Steam next week on April 16, 2018.

Ys VIII’s PC release will include all of the content included in the PlayStation 4 release,  – including the updated English translation – and will be available through Steam and GOG.com. Those who purchase the game during the first week of launch will receive the following DLC free of charge:

• Adol’s Adventure Essentials DLC
(including the “Silver Armor” and “Adventurer’s Clothes” costumes)
• Digital Mini Art Book
• Digital Soundtrack Sampler
• Laxia’s “Eternian Scholar” Costume

You know what they say, better late than never, right? So, will you be adding Ys: VIII to your library when it lands on PC next week? As always, we love to hear what you think. Be sure to sound off in the comments below and let us know!
